Data Centre Cooling

Cooling equipment selection is a critical part of any Data Centre, Server Room or Comms Room to ensure that the cooling is both effective and energy efficient.

Data centre environments require air conditioning units designed specifically with a tight tolerance of control and high sensible heat ratio, as latent cooling is of no value.

Computer Room Air Conditioning (CRAC) units, downflow or upflow units provide close control and we recommend Cold Aisle Containment.

By their very nature, Data Centres tend to have high heat load densities and in addition to the close control air conditioning units we also offer solutions to further enhance the air distribution and energy efficiency of the Data Centre.

These include an Automatic Floor Pressurisation System (AFPS) and Active Floor tiles; 600mm x 600mm floor tiles incorporating a variable speed EC fan and intelligent microprocessor controls, capable of cooling especially high density racks of up to 40kW.
